Why All The Fuss About Item Upgrade?

Why All The Fuss About Item Upgrade?

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades to gear increase its stats base and often increases its other features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.

The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item like armor, weapon, or ring. This replaces the item with an identical item, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted will not be refunded.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item such as increasing its damage.

Players can roll their equipment into three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare, and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to produce it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next success is rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.

In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This affects the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that boost an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. These stones are also available to players who sign daily contracts.

To upgrade their gear players first need to find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to gain an advantage in battle without putting a strain on their accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto the new gear.

The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for novice players. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets players increase the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item an upgrade level, giving the item a boost in the area. This process continues until the item reaches its highest level.

Items with upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components cannot be stacked with one another, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a particular number of items to be added, as well as an initial level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add items to be upgraded. On the right, previews show what the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of the item will increase by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item reaches its highest level, upgrades will no longer be available for it. When an item attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Items upgrades allow players to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

Item upgrade components can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide added effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once  item upgrader  has been placed into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can boost the item's stats.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" For example, increases base defense and adds an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire" however, increases weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve a perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of the item and the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will place an item in your inventory when you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far you are to finishing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
